IGL supports in the adoption of technologies for both effective and efficient education management and learning and teaching process. It ensures that every student has access to the modern infrastructure and acquires skills required in the modern technology driven world.
IGL assists in education data governance and in the development of education information system to bring together all education data, from education institutions to study materials. It also assists in digital curricula and teacher training.
IGL experts have initiated several national modernization and digitalization initiatives such as the Deer Leap in Georgia in 2005-2009 and have led the preparation and implementation of several education digitalization programmes, in Albania, Haiti, Macedonia, Moldova, Palestinian NA etc.
